fyi you might want to spend money on something else. 4.7 exhaust manifolds were built to flow within 2% of headers so you wont see any performance gain.

it used to be on allpar.com but it may be gone now, i have heard it from a few other people though. If you're looking for performance out of the exhaust take it to a shop and have them get rid of the stock y-pipe and the third cat, or gut it yourself. The stock y-pipe is very restrictive and you can free up about 10-15 horsepower just by removing that. Add yourself a nice muffler and you've got a nice sounding v-8 also. The only reason you would need headers on a 4.7 is if the engine is supercharged or turbo'd and you need to get the exhaust out faster.

I agree on a stock truck don't bother with headers. Just make sure you have a good muffler flowmaster 40 is the favorite and if it is legal in your state remove the cat

remove it or get a high flow third cat, it dont think it will affect the truck's computer, just be sure to get a better y-pipe.

uhh im pretty sure, the main thing is to get rid of the stock ypipe. The third cat should be after all the 02 sensors so it wont affect anything.
