It cost me 72$ to fill mine up and i got 250miles to the tank, and it poped at 18.5gals

so if you do the math. I was getting about 13mpg.. ya its bad, but better then the 10 i was getting before with the 02 problem.

gas will come back down.. i was paying 4.25 for 93 now its at 3.82 for 93.

User, HOW THE F*** ARE YOU GETTING 13 MPG?!?!?!?!

my average says 9.4 and all i have is a CAI. granted i do A LOT of heavy city driving in Chicago, but do you think that alone would drop me 3.6 MPG?

Regular tune ups, and baby it in the city. On the highway i can cruise at about 90 or so and get about 12mpg maybe 11. w/e.

also in your sig it looks like the tires you have on the back look a bit to small, and could be making you run at a higher RPM then normal causing more gas consumption.

also you said you had o2 problems that alone can cut your mpg by 1/3 fix that, and do a master tune up and should be getting in the double digits lol. Ive never been lower then 10mpg.. i told myself it if does.. im parking it.. 9mpg is sick..

then there is something wrong with your truck or you must have a lead foot like no other.... lol.

Like i sais above, regular maintenance and make sure those o2s are good, CAI can help but not that much nothing like +2 or 3 mpg. Maybe .4 or .5 lol.. if lucky.

Take it easy on the highway drive 60 or 65 and on the city try to shift below or at 2k thats what i do.
