hey i just got some R/T badges off of a 2008 charger from my neighbor who owns a dealership and i was wondering how hard it was to remove the stock V8 magnum badges that are on he front fenders? i got all the vinyl ones off myself but these are different, is there going to be chaos under these in terms of paint damage? i was thinking of using a heat gun...... i dunno. let me know whta you guys think.

they are suck on and have 2 alignment holes
heat and pull, helps to take a razor blade to cut the foam backing some, they're stuck on good

I removed my tailgate badges on my 3rd gen a few days ago, mine didn't have alignment holes but otherwise are the same. I got some 3m General Purpose Adhesive Solvent from Napa (it's safe for paint) and soaked them down real good then heated them a bit and pulled them off carefully. After that working at them with a soft rag soaked in the solvent took all the residue off. I'm betting the razor blade works well too, I'm just not brave enough to take a razor near my paint

goo gone never gave me problems with paint, use some fishing wire to "saw" between the adhesive pad on the badge and the paint using the goo gone as a lubricant and to help make the job easier. leave the truck parked in the sun, helps heat up the badges to weaken the adhesion, once your done, wash the truck, give it a nice wax... can never complain after a good waxing, and put on your new badges. just remember to measure twice before you slap on the new badges, you want them symmetrical. unless the mounting holes will still work, then you're set

Do we get pics of these new badges? Or have you not dont them yet?

I took my V6 badges off years ago, one was smashed and hideous so I removed it. Other than the small dent braking paint and the dent itself no negatives. I would like something to put there tho.
