P0442 (M) Evap Leak Monitor Meduim Leak Detected A small leak has been detected in the evaportive sysem.
P0152 (M) 2/1 O2 Sensor Shorted To Voltage Oxygen sensor input voltage sustained above normal operating range.
the second one should be as easy as changing the O2 correct? if so i'm just going to live with it until i do headers and exhaust.
the first one is all new to me. any thoughts?

for the 2nd one. The Short to voltage.
I had the same code. You will want to fix this ASAP! The bank 1 sensor controls a/f and if your getting a SHORT TO VOLTAGE that means its getting more voltage then it needs, and this will cause your comp to dump more fuel, and can cause the truck to foul plugs, rings, ect.. and run rich and decrease power.
When i fixed mine it wasn't the o2 that was the problem, one of the grounds that runs through the o2 to about 5 other sensors on the truck was shorted to another wire that had voltage to it. Causing it to toss this code.
You will have to find this short and fix it, and thats NOT fun.. i had to take mine to a auto-electrician and had them fix it. I spent days/months trying to find it. Come to find out it was a sensor on the side of the tranny where the wires got old and brittle and fell apart and bear wire was touching each other.. taped it back up and the problem went away, i got better MPG and Performance from it, and i don't run as rich.

I just found out this weekend that because of this issue my valve seals are SHOT and Rings are tost..
now i have to pull my heads and have them fixed.. and this is not going to be a cheap fix, all new hardware/gaskets will have to be bought... damn it.
but im going to try to put a cam in it while i fix this and maybe get a port job on my heads with forged rods and ****.
was trying to pay off my credit card but now it looks like im gonna have ti use it again.. sheesh...
