New Dakota Owner :) ?'s
Let me say that this is my first truck, and my first V8. I don't drive but 10 miles a day, so gas mileage is not a worry to me. I do have a few questions about the dakota. I have not brought the truck home to find these things out.
What are the speakers size? (quad cab)
Tire size? (backspacing etc)
Rear end ratio?
Performance mods? (not the HO version)
Oh, it's the 2wd for the gas mileage...*giggles*

Im not sure on the speaker size but they are actually pretty good for a pickup. I just replaced the head unit so i would have an ipod hook up.
The rear end is 3:55 i believe, someone correct me if im wrong.
As far as performance mods... what yr & motor do you have. (4.7 or 5.2)?
No matter what you can do exhuast ( these v8's sound good w/ an exhaust)

you can always get one of those roll on diy bed liners at pep boys and go over it to make it look better should look pretty good since its already got a bed liner on it. rear end could also be 3.92 you can look in your glove box there should be a sticker there. for exhaust i recommend hooker aerochamber there is a couple vids on youtube of mine and one other 4.7 dak its real nice cruising but sounds awesome on the outside.

If you want real mellow you can get flowmaster 50 series which is meant to be more mellow or if you want a good sound and still quite in the cab you can go with the 40 series. The 44 series is more aggresive and louder.
Like playmaker maker said they make diy kits for the roll on bed liner, cheaper but might not end up perfect.
