i dont even think dodge has the ability to make a single cab v8 dakota anymore, it would just make too much sense. And you're right, ever since they changed the grille in 08 the dakotas do look a little better, but they're still too boxy and too big looking in general for my taste.

My droopy nosed, fat lipped, under-sized tire (not for long) 3rd gen is in the corner with a sleeve of Oreo's and a box of tissues, totally inconsolable. Thanks alot.

I think the 3rd gen's are very sharp from some angles, but admittedly dopey from others. Also not a fan of the proportions of the Quad Cab Daks of any generation...

The 2nd gen, regular cab 4x4 Dak's on stock alloys and big tires has to be one of the 3 best looking modern Dodge trucks, along with the Powerwagon regular cab and RC/SB Hemi 1500 4x4 Off Road package they made for only 1 year or so.

My $.02. Still beats a Ranger or Colorado any day.

ahaha agreed! I am not to big a fan on the 3rd gens with the chromed out headlights, but for the rest of them, they are sexy! and QCs proportions suck, its all weird looking
