I still say the 08's are some of the nicest Daks. Besides the 04 QC 4X4.
Eff the R/T... I'll save for the 08 Dak. at my local dealership.

WHen I was looking for a newer Dak to replace my older '95, one of the dealerships I went to wanted me to buy an '06 model and I told him I didn't like the body style at all and he told me that Dak sales went down about 20% when they changed the body style. I ended up with my '03. I had to get the QC because I have children. It's grown on me and the 4.7L that's in it is actually not bad. I've timed mine o-60 a few times with and without the tuner and it's about .8 secs quicker with the tuner. The next thing i'm going to do to it is change out the TB with one that's 68.5mm. Then a cold air intake and then 206 cams. I've been told all these mods should put my 4.7L at about 310HP. Don't get me wrong when i was looking for a truck, I was looking for an R/T but they are hard to find these days.

somebody correct me if i am wrong but you already ahve a 68.5 mm TB... when the 4.7 came out in 00 they came with a 65mm but for 01 and above (i beleive even all the way up to 08) they came standard with the 68.5mm TB... do you mean getting a ported and polished out from somebody like fastman?

Yeah, thats exactly what i'm talking about. I spoke with him on the phone, he said that the 68mm TB wasn't quite 68mm stock. So I told that I would be ordering one soon.
