Default Want to swap a 97 3.9 magnum for a 97 5.2 magnum

It's my understanding that a 5.2 magnum will fit right into my v6 magnum....5 speed manual.....all I should need (according to what I've read) is a 8 cylinder wire harness and computer....am I correct....

Drop right in, bolt right up. You can either change the harness, or, simply add the two injector circuits the six doesn't have, swap out the PCM for a V-8 manual PCM, or, have yours reflashed for the 5.2. I don't think the six programming will run the v-8 though. Crank sensor return signal is decidedly different.

Yes there is no difference in a transmission out of a 5.2 or 5.9
