Default Lower ball joint question

Does anyone know the torque setting for the lower ball joint to control arm mounting bolts?

BTW, it a 2WD.

Thanks

says 94 foot pounds in the manual but i believe that's the ball stud to the steering knuckle.

You mean lower ball joint to steering knuckle bolt. (Because the ball joint is pressed into the control arm)
Anyways, it's 135ft. lbs. for 4WD, and 94 ft. lbs. for 2WD.

That is very interesting to me.
Are there actually holes in the control arm for the bolts to go through, or did you have to drill them? (I haven't worked on a Gen 2 Dakota)

I had to cut the tops of the rivets with a torch and air chisel. Then drill into them and punch them out.

Oh yea, that's right, the crappy rivet-in ball joints. One of them things those geniuses at Chrysler came up with. I really congratulate them on those, and the greaseless ball joints as well.
