Hello,

I'm in the market to buy my first Dakota. My price range is between 6-8k.

What if the difference in MPG, power and reliability between the V6 vs V8.

Also any thing else should I consider?

As long as you drive conservatively most of the time, you're gonna want the V8. It has more power, torque, and even gets better MPG than the V6.

3.9 cuz it sounds cool :P

 

for mpg no 5.9 but the 5.2 and 4.7 get close if not better than the 3.9 and have loads more power so definitely get a V8
