Default Custom CAI installed...

I just finished building a CAI for my truck, with a little help from a friend of mine, we are going to test it before we paint it. I also ordered my TB this morning. I should have it next friday. I will post pic's if ya'll want me to...

The pvc we used on this is Schedule 40(thick wall)

It's probably hard to see but just below the trans dip stick is where we relocated the vacum line.

This is the stock flex we re-used right off the TB. In the left side of the pic is where we relocated the air temp sensor.

This is the 45 bend and the 1/8 bend we used(45 bend is on the right)

Finished it with a $30 cone filter from the parts house.

Pic of the finished product (without paint) was thinking about painting either Hemi Orange or bright orange...what do you guys think?

My buddy that helped me build it (my mechanic) wants to paint and a few pieces of the TB, when I get it, orange so it stands out when you pop the hood.

I'd keep the pipe white because by theory the heat will be reflected rather than absorbed.

I wished I knew what the air temp was that was getting to it now. Wouldn't happen know of a way to find out would ya Rakaric?
