Default lift blocks

hey all.. there's something about the spring air that makes me wanna start buying parts for my truck lol
anyway i have a question for all u guys who have done a tb / lift block lift. where do u buy the blocks from!??
i see some sets online here and there but id like to get confirmation from others who have bought first if i can. i have a 2002 dak 4x4 quad cab.
any stores or places online that have decent products. also im in canada so if anyone knows of good stores that have them here as well that would be great. im in london ontario.

cheers and hopefully ill have pics with a few mods in the comming months. changeing the blinkers to clear soon... and then tb/ block lift with also a customegrilles grill to replace front. just some cheap mods but its a start.

lata all.

well, I can say this blocks are not good. But atleast your not using those absurdly huge ones likes like 6" of lift. 2" is generally okay. But they do deteriorate over time. And can fail. expect axle wrap.

yah im just think'n of a small increase in back. only like 2 " max.. ive read alot of posts and all the guys that have the 2" in the back say they never had any issues. just gotta make sure u get a good material for them. im just try'n to figure out what the best kinds are. i read one post that said try to find the blocks that are used in the 4x4 rangers since there really good material but i don't know if tha twould fit. i think id rather go new.
so yah just tb lift in front and a slight increase in back. nothing major. anything more and i know id have to look at a suspension lift. or body but naw.

BTH the safest thing I know if is to get leaf spring brackets for the rear. They look like an H and go into the stock hangers then have the ones for the leaves X" below.

Use hockey pucks for the blocks in the rear.

*** hey Magnethead... i missed your post up there. good idea tho.. maybe i should actually just go with the shackles. seems alot better and safer. i looked on 4wheelparts.com but do u guys have any hints on what shackles u've used or i should get? again im look'n for 1-2" lift for the back. Depending on how much i have for front once the tb crank is done.
