One thing a mechanic friend of mine told be to do with the lifters for the 5.9 I'm currently building is keep them sitting in oil to keep moisture out of them. If its humid where you live you might want to think about doing that.

Paint is Chrysler Industrial Red. (I know it looks like Chevy Orange but it isnt! lol)

I'd have to agree...them rotating assemblies looked ugly. Did you drop new ones in, or clean the hell out of the old?

I took everything in to my local machine shop to get them refurbished. Should have them back by tomarrow. Those pics up there are just mock ups to see what itd look like. Its gettin new valve springs, oil pump, waterpump, rod/main/cam bearings, brass freeze plugs, thermostat, and felpro gaskets all around.

i would look at pin 31/32 on the black plug. It says ground. Which I assume is a ground for the computer, i think either pin will work. I would just check were the stock ones go. There is one on mine and it's wired in for remote start and runs to a ground wire. one hanging out in the middle of the bay if you have remote start.
