make sure there's no more residual glass shards (or sand which the stuff really turns out to be) in those pistons, especially in the ring valleys. check over everything else.

Nah. It'll all be stock, for the time being anyway. I had this thought of one day putting hemi heads on it but that would be later on down the road.

Looks good bud! But if it was me, and i had the engine all apart like that, i would at least stroke/bore it out or something

I couldnt find any aftermarket valve covers for the magnum motors that are under 200$, so im just painting mine up. My buddy is getting me some mopar decals (since he works for the dodge dealer) to put on them as well. Good enough for me!

the swap will be done in 2-3 weeks. fireup should be in the beginning of april.

you did all that work, its a shame that the fram oil filter you put on there is going to fail and ruin the engine.

lol, no way would i ever do that. thats just one i had lying around that i test fit onto make sure i put it back together right, because i had that whole assembly apart.

i dont know how others feel about them, but i use k&n oil filters. cant complain
