getting 3 codes.

-upstream o2 (pretty sure this is cus im running it open headers)
-Trans relay control sumthing or other
-and duty cycle evap/purge solenoid control.

Still a lil puzzled on it. :/

Ive read that I can get a no bus from a bad pcm, bad ground, or bad Crank sensor. I dont think its the pcm or a CPS tho, cus it runs and drives. There are a few pinouts different from the 99 Durango harness, and the 98 Dakota pcm, so im gonna monkey with that this weekend.

Here are the probs im still having

-At operating temp TRANS TEMP light comes on and locks out the O/D (I did change the filter and tranny fluid in it. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, or if its because of the code its throwing)
-Elec fan is on at all times when key is in run pos before start, and while running
-no bus code on odometer after 20 secs or so of running

Im certain all my problems are electrial which is pretty weak. I almost wanna buy a new 99 Durango PCM but im just not sure. I need some input.

I know if the tranny is too cold it won't go into OD until it has come up to temp... but I don't think that is your problem.

And its always the electrically stuff that sucks.

throttle cable was from a truck with the v8..

Project came out great, considering all of my problems. The last problem with the tranny was a bent prong where the plug goes onto.

Sold the truck about 4 monthes ago to my brother, and has not had anyy problems with it, not even any CEL's.

Was it worth it? absolutley NOT. It took me alot more time, effort, headaches, and most importantly money to get it done. But all in all its still a good truck for having a motor in it that was never offered for that year.

BTW i sold it cus i found a screaming deal on a 2003 Ram 1500 quad for only 7000$!

Good job man, Both nice trucks. I gotta say that I do like the dak better even if only because of how much work went into it.
