I use the EBC Rotors and Green Stuff Pads... they are NOISSSSSIE **** HELLLLl!!!!!!!!
God its annoying.. i have to slam the brakes about 1 time a week to get the noisy *** sqeeeel to go away.
300$ for the the front 2 and they sound like they are a set of 20$ brake job... although they do stop on a dime..
also my Rotors already have small stress cracks in them...
Im going to upgrade to Vipers sooner or later... ill add that to my list of mods.

bryant, if you can find an 03/04 dak in the junkyard with disc breaks in the rear id do that for the swap, its already configured for yout truck (basically) just unbolt everything ya need from the junker, and bolt it back up to your truck 
this solves the parking break issue and will give you ALL the parts that you could need for the swap.
but FYI, my dads 03 has 4 wheel discs on it and i dont like the way they stop, the power increses if you hold the break pedal steady, whereas my truck it grabs rigth away if your not careful about it(mine has rear drums)

as per I understand it, drums have long been theorized as being better than discs because there is more friction surface area, which should help stopping distance. Discs are lighter and have a better cooling ability for heavy use.
So theorietically, a combination truck should stop better than a 4 wheel disc under ideal conditions...but those never exist.
