Default Getting my Dak soon =D

So, I've been around ever since I began looking for a Dak, and I finally found one and will have it soon. My grandad gets the privilege of flying to Florida and driving it back here to Ohio. I have a meeting for a class trip to Europe I can't miss or else I'd go with him.

I'll be getting my hands on a 1997 318 extended cab 4x4 with a 5 speed. 133k miles, new tranny and clutch, and it comes with a tool box =D. It also has a 3 inch lift.

Planned mods (as of now, important ones only):
old style K&N with the filter top
quick disconnect sway bar
performance spark plug cables (and the autolights 3923s I think they are)
headers
true duals

Cheaper than everything up here, no rust to deal with, and family in the general area so we could have it checked out.

Thats true probably won't be must rust on it. Has a new tranny and clutch so it should last you forever as long as the previous owner took care of it .

Okay, he got down there and checked it out himself. He had some second thoughts because a few issues came to light, but decided that it is solid and we can work on it easy enough.

Newly found problems:
Paint peeling on top of cab
dent and scratch on hood
needs control arm(s)
dent on upper side of bed
scratches on bed from a previously cover
rear window was broken and has had some make shift stuff done to it

So as you see, mostly cosmetic crap that we can put up with and/or handle. I'm not too worried as long as it runs well.
