I just bought a 2003 dakota quad cab 4x4 with a auto 4.7 in it.. And my brother has a 2004 ram 1500 (quad cab also) with a hemi. And hes already talking sh*t about how his truck will smoke the dak. However we both got cold air and exhaust.. however hes got the 20s with 36s on it.. What do you guys think will be faster? clearly the hemi has more power but its a bigger truck..what do you guys think

 

i think you should put a hemi in yours

 

i could barrely afford the dak let alone to put a hemi in it haha. that would be a fun project..and a pretty fast truck when it was finsihed

its not the size of your engine that matters, its how you use it...

 

The QC daks aren't all that fast. I think hes got you.

 

Dood you will smoke him 1500 hemi's arnt that fast plus he has 36 inch tires on it, you have nothing to worry about!

 

if he has stock gearing you will win. If he's re-geared than well it's like running stock tire size.

 

no hes got stock gearing just a mopar locker in the rear... with 36 inch hankooks (looks sick)..also hes braggen about his "ram hammer" cold air intake wich ill give him credit it looks cool and is huge but cant be any better then my k@n cold air with the square filter..but ill keep you guys posted.. the daks got a challange infront of it..haha
