5.0L's are a fail....every mustang guys swares by them adn loves them and talks **** on everythign else....who gives a **** really!!
i preffer teh 4.6L....16V or the 32V cobra


oh and BTW i swapped out the 3:27 gears in a 96 cobra to 4:10's....sum bitch lights **** on FIRE!!!...and it was out first gear swap ever...all three of us didnt know what were were doin

They have probably one of the biggest aftermarkets out there and an amazing torque curve, so they are good motors that are cheap as hell to mod. The 4v cobra motors do make awesome power and with a little boost will go like hell. The 2v is a fail... full bolt ons won't even do $hit for them. The most they ever made were 260 at the crank and have to be s/c'ed to make any decent power.

 

That maybe true... but I know people who know other people who know better people.

 

i love the 32V cobra motor..if i could figure it out...id swap that into my truck!!!!

my MSD 6A ignition box took a **** on me, so now i have to figure out how to fix that.

 

No thats def true. They have a lot of potential like the car user was looking at but stock they are slow. And the 32v cobra motor def is badass. I love how by slapping on a keene bell you're automatically pushing 600 to the wheels.

 

with supporting mods....a stock 32v with just a KB dosent make a true 600 hp

now with a full intake, echaust, and a smaller pulley...youll be touching 650
