Off enough that the piping rubs against the A/C lines, and I had to cut a good 3" off the end of the pipe so the filter would fit in the fender well.

All of the other 5 I bought from him have fit perfectly. Not sure why this was one was any different.
On the flip side I bought one from him for my old 96 Ram with a 360 and it fit fine too.
Do you have the 4.7 or 5.2? And did you order the package with the K&N Filter or with their own Crome Intake air filter?

I have the 4.7, and I ordered the one without the K&N since I already had one.

But I bought one from him about a year ago for my old Ram with a 360 (5.9l) which is the same one for the 5.2 and it fit pretty good.

Just installed flowmaster 40s last week, rancho shocks, flushed the coolant, changed the oil/filter. All thats left on my list for the next little while is CAI, a new head unit with alpine amp + 4 6.5" type r speakers + another amp with a 12" type x alpine sub, get the canopy painted, new lights, brushguard, dodge covers for the rear lights, 3" lift...

hmm maybe i still have a large list

No problem man.

And believe me, my list grows by the week. I have absolutly no cash for mods at all. So I'm keeping a list of everything I want to do on my PC and it'll all come with time. here's my list...

Change Transmission Oil and Filter
Rear Diff Change
Front Diff Change
Flag for Bed
General Grabber Tires
LED Tail Lights (eBay)
LED Third Brake Light (eBay)
Third Brake Light Cover (4x4 Cover - Stylin Trucks)
Fog Lights (130 Series 6" Driving Light Kit by Pro Comp)
Billet Radio Antenna
Shorty Headers
High Flow Cat
Cat back Exhaust
New Rear Bumper
New Hitch

Pretty much in that order too...

^^ Already have a sudo exhaust. I basically don't have one. And it sounds amazing. I'm still not sure if I even want to get an exhaust or just keep it dumped after the cat.

When I was doing my exhaust on my dak I started it up with just the cat and it sounded pretty good but not as loud as I expected I wish I would of gutted the cat or at least put on a high flow one. I cant wait to get my 85 ram running again cause thats true straight duals dumped before the rear tires.
I cant believe I havent been pulled over for it yet.

It gets louder. At idle it's pretty quiet. I've been driving around like this for almost 6 months now.
