Default No brake lights, hazard or turn signals 2003 Dakota

2003 Dakota quad cab that has no turn signal, hazards, or brake lights. Checked a number of things, but narrowing to replacing the multifunction switch, but would it effect brake lights? Could not find any relays...are there any, any would they effect brakes?

Before replacing, any other suggestions, and can multifunction switch be checked? Fuses at end of dash appear fine.

Problem started when pulling a rental trailer. LIghts checked out ahead of towing but failed something it the tow... Any help would be appreciated.

my obvious guess would be blown bulbs or fuses due to a short in the trailer wiring.

FYI...my ODB II code reader shows no faults (and bulbs do look good).

...another thing, everything else electrically works fine (cruise, windows, wipers, overhead readouts, etc.). Only the brake and turn signals are inop.

Check both fuse placed. Drivers side dash and under hood.

Make sure there's nothing wrong at the wiring adapter for the trailer, too... I was having issues and that's where I found a short.

Checked a number of things, but I'm suspecting the 'combination flasher'. Its' brake output is 0VDC so it seems dead. However, the odd thing is the A1 pin which is supposed to be 'Fused B(+)' is only 3VDC, but I would have guessed it to be 12VDC. Or, it may be the result of a bad 'combination flasher'?

Checked out the 'multi-function switch' and it was fine.
