vht is the brand of taillight tint. its called "vht nightshade".

didn't even think of the 2k grit and I worked at a body shop forever haha...I just bought some probably gonna do it this weekend I'll post some pics.

im adding some more coats of clear, weren't shiny enough for me.


edit: heres the final product. i clear coated it like 10 times. it looks really nice. the 3rd brake light has a little orange peel appearance but it doesn't bother me.

put another coat of tint on em not dark enough! mine are almost black lol

Mine has been done like that.. but waaaay to dark.. lucky to see the brake lights at 100 feet in daylight hours.. let alone 300ft. After alot of debating with myself.. I ordered aftermarkets today. If whoever done it would have made it just a few shade lighter.. I would have loved them.

you can take paint thinner to them and wipe it away or atleast make it lighter.

I may do that after I put the new ones on.. I was thinking steel wool & water.. then buff them to get rid of any scratches. The thinner idea would be much less work.. might try that first. I do want to keep them.. never know when they might be needed
