Default what i did to my dakota today!

I vht'd my taillights and 3rd brake light.

not the greatest pic but I had to snap it before it got too dark.

i did 2 light coats but it turned out a little darker than i expected, but Im really happy with them. then i clear coated the **** out of them.

that looks nice. you used that like stuff in the spray can right? i always wondered how that would turn out.

i did the same thing to mine looks awesome especially at night, i think i did three coats and no clear so at night if my brake lights are off it matches the truck

yes, it was a little worried that it would turn out like crap. but even before i clear coated it it looked real good. but the clear really made it pop.

i also sprayed my light covers, they originally had white lettering but now its blacked out . im considering also doing a light coat over the hood badge.

i think i might get some and do what you did with the the tail lights, but make a cut out of the dodge logo and kinda paint over it so at night the logo will stand out

i was going to do the exact same thing, but i didnt figure out how it would work or look. let me know how it turns out.

wash the lights real well and use 2000 grit sand paper before you spray the vht.
