But yes.. i agree with that you said, but thats not the reason why i said it.
What he said was right... stop busting his *****. I dont get on this forum often as i have other sites i go to. I know some of the people on this forum from being a mod awhile back so i come by from time to time to post up new news.

How the hell is this.. (read quote below)
U also forgot to add that older engines dont run OBD2 and have less restrictions on exauhst, you see on newer OBD2 motors the PCM/Exhaust is a big deal to pass inspections and not get CEL aka Check Engine Lights
The reason im telling him to atleast get a cam that produces 15# as ANYTHING lower then that on a OBD2 will toss a code and will not run right unless tuned correctly, and the SCT can not tune this, only a stand alone would.. so he would not pass inspections if he needed to.
so in which as long as my truck is registered in TX i have to pass inspections ! and thank you for the info , im still learning internal combustion engines , so much different than a turbine , wish i could just throw one in the bed of my truck and say f@#$ it .
Not just one way but many ways... heard of a book, hands on, research, internet, friends, ect...
Don;t rely on Dodgeforum to give you all your info, you will just be another tool if you think everything said on the net is true..
Expand your horizons.

I don't get on this forum to ask questions, I get on to answer them and to share my projects I have going on. I go elsewhere to find answers to my questions.

All those things you listed are the same. Learning.
They are absolutely not the same. Typically, books are published by experts on the subject matter. Factory service manuals were written by the people who made the vehicles... use them. Forums are typically full of enthusiasts, not professionals. You can't listen to everything you hear on a forum. With over 3,000s posts, I promise you a good number of mine were wrong or misleading, but I try hard not to post unless I'm fairly confident in my answer. Same goes for your friends... I'm assuming most of your friends aren't professionals at everything you talk about. You can't trust everything that we say or that they say to be true.
And how can you say hands on experience is the same as sitting at a table reading a book or at the computer searching the internet?!?! Most of what I've learned is from getting under my truck and turning bolts.
Everything user listed were forms of learning... yes. But there's this little thing you left out called credibility. I can try to teach you that 2+2=5, but that doesn't mean its right.

You see here, you obviusly have a problem or short term memory man. The reason why i listed all those diffrent types of "learning" is because you said and i quote...
And i listed what... at least 5 different ways to teach yourself about things.
Hands on is BY FAR the best one, i have taught myself SO much in the past 3 years its crazy, do a search for my posts 3 years ago i was a pure noob to this truck. Now i pretty much know how to rip the whole damn thing apart and know what each size bolt is... haha its sad, but it also feels good at the same time to know and help others, but people like u get on my nerves when you sit here and do this ****.
Take it or leave it... your just a nagger... did you grow up around a bunch of women or something?
