Anyone know where I can find a cold air intake for 2004 3.7l?

yeah on egay, search for the black pipe intake. should be $40.

on ebay what is the difference from the $40 one and the ones that are like $250, they both say cold air intake but not to sure what is so different, What ones have you guys used?

don't just get the drop in filter save the money.

yes but especially with your 4.7l if you were to get the tubing that gets rid of the stock restricting boxes you will notice an extreme increase in sound, sounds like a exhaust system from the front end it was epic the first time i put mine on and was driving around

thats y i replaced that box w/ a fat hose, after the drop in k&n.
sounds much better. that box has baffles or something in it for ppl who don't want 2 here the v8. lol

what about that box at the throttle body i think that makes a diffrance as well, if not it makes it look better lol

drop in's are a waste of money. you dont gain anything.

Some intakes are $200 plus because you are paying for the name, and they are a bit higher quality - usually made of molded ABS plastic.

i like this ebay intake because it comes with a heat shield. the filter is likely junk though.

yea i got my full k&n off ebay for 125! just had a hole in the plastic from previous owners truck that had some sensor that mine doesn't so i plugged it, i love it, during the summer it gets me an extra 20mi per tank

and i love the sound, the louder the better imo lol
