How come I can only get offers on my truck for 4,000 its only got 83,000 miles. I bought it 2 years ago with 73,000 miles and only paid 6,318.86 out the door.
Well i checked the kbb on it back in the begining of dec 09 and it was 5,500 in good condition. I checked it last week and its now 4,700 for excellent condition and 4,300 in good condition. I only put 10,000 miles on it cause I dont have to travel far 3 miles to school 1/2 mile to the g/f's house and work wise. I only have to go like 2 miles to get a ride or sometimes none at all when I get a work truck to use. Then summer time its either atv or rhino that I use to get around.
well im getting my license in may, and i got the family minivan. (o joy) was able to sell it and got about 4500. what can i get for that much in terms of mileage, year/engine etc. any year to steer clear of?
i live in south jersey if that matters.
thanks
there are 2 'big' things you will want to ask.
1 - has the transmission been rebuilt yet? (assuming an AT)
2 - have ALL the balljoints been replaced yet? (easy to know, if they have grease fittings they have been replaced)
then of course being over there where lots of road salt is used, make sure to check for rust, well everywhere! especially in the suspension and frame.
