Default Recent purchase -'04 CC 4.7 5spd with 37k miles

Been lurking these forums for the past year so I thought I would share my purchase. I am pretty pumped about this truck. Purchased from original owner (his daughter was executing his estate). He had a 2500 Cummins and an F250, but pulled this DaKota behind his RV a few times a year. It had 36k miles when I purchased in April 2017. The RV had 86k miles.

Not sure what I will do to it. So far i have replaced all fluids with Amsoil, autoLite plugs, and cleaned the TB. I found it near impossible to locate a true suspension lift for 2004. I am thinking I will at least crank the torsion bars to fit 265/75/16 ATs (Currently has 245/65/16).

I am also considering coating the bumpers, fender flares and rockers in black. Think it would add a slick tan/black look.

Still looks pretty good. Is it just me, or is the front bumper missing?

Yeah it is missing, it is one of the few body pieces I need to replace. The hood is also bent from a fender bender at my work. WIP for sure! Haha

That post you reference was 8 years ago. He is no longer on here.

Default 1998 Dakota

Center Console
Had this built at Audio Specialists in Clarksville TN. I've got armrests and cup holders again. After swapping the bench seat for buckets, I had to hold my drink in my lap for awhile.
