Default What gas station do you prefer?

So gearing up for memorial weekend here, gas and traffic are gonna get ridiculous around me cause we are the second most congested region in the country from all the northerners going south.

I filled up for 2.59 a gallon at my favorite gas station: Texaco, my truck seems to run the best on their gas reg 87oct with that ethanol crap in it (we ain't got 100% around here)
but if the Texaco is too expensive I'll usually go with BP only cause there is only one Texaco around me and its next to my house, not work or school.

my least favorite has to be Hess, they water down their gas a lot, then 7/11, then Farm Fresh (grocery store around here), WaWa ain't that bad.

Im not gonna lie, I almost strictly use Walmart lol. It's got ethanol in it but my cousin works for the company in charge of testing gas stations to make sure the gas is ok and he said not to worry about it.

I get substantially better MPGs with Phillips 66 gas, they have 100% gas. But they are usually 20 cents or more higher per gallon. If they don't have a decent price, I usually buy Walmart type gas. BP/Texaco/etc all have 10% ethanol at nearly the same price as Route 66, and I get the sameish mpg with their gas as I do Walmart's gas and it's cheaper.

in this order:
Phillips 66 (no ethanol)
Walmart
Kroger
BP/Texaco/Chevron/etc

Anyone except BP now. I usually get Chevron or Texaco- I'm in FL and we don't have any stations without ethanol, so I'm stuck with it.

Looking for ethanol free gas?.....look here......http://pure-gas.org/

you can add and remove gas stations as needed.....I try to steer away from the ethanol blends as best as I can.....

as far as watering down gas.....I don't think gas and water mix very well.....

My truck runs best on Texaco/Chevron. If I can't get to one of those I use Shell or Sunoco. I won't buy cheap no-name low quality gas. Our gas here is about 2.60 to 2.70 depending on what town and county you are in. I use Marvel Mystery Oil in every tank to offset the effects of ethanol and every 3000 miles I run a bottle of Red Line Fuel System Cleaner.

shell is retarded around here, they are always 20cents higher than everyone else, mainly cause they are "in town," the one next the court house near where i work is 50c more cause they are the only one with in 2mi and people are dumb that pay that price

You're not doing any good with that MMO, other than raising the cost of your tank.
