what kind of paint did you use on those caps? i was actually thinking of doing the same thing. and what is the box that the intake goes into that says magnum 4.7L. i noticed some people leave it on and some take it off..does that make a difference? and this might be a really stupid question but does removing the silencer just make your engine sound louder? or will it have other affects

 

i dont care much about mpgs i was just wondering if installing cai would noticibly increase power or just a very minor effect?

 

jersey , i used sandable primer, then 2 coats of rustolems red enamel paint. matchs the dodge red pretty good. the only silencer i know about is that box you see on the tb. if you lose it it might lower the intake temp, which is good.

burton, still a matter of opinion but its mostly a minor effect that will just help with other mods, like a bored tb, exaust, tuner etc.
