dang just looking at those pics makes my eyes hurt. lol i like the idea of HID's but people around here get to crazy and stupid with them.

I had thought about HID, but PD's around here don't like them and will ticket you in a heartbeat. So what I did was buy MTEC (japanese equivalent of PIAA) 4350k (pure white) 9007 Xenon bulbs. They have the brightness of the HID because they are Xenon instead of Halogen and they are a straight plug-in replacement. They work beautifully. I would take pics, but I'm on the other side of the country (VA). Cost about $36 with shipping on ebay.

ive heard really bad things about any bulbs made in japan or china. I might still try them tho!

They've worked fine for several months now. I would be leery of China or HK made. I lived in Japan for a couple of years, and MTEC has a pretty good rep there.
