Default efan cfm requirements

so today was hot, and while i was driving them got a little higher than normal and stock efan couldn't bring it down but was able to keep it steady above 220, if that makes sense. anywho, shooting around the idea of a better efan. what cfm do you guys recommend, i think i remember seeing at least 2500 for the 4.7.

edit: well unless i cant find a Taurus or Lincoln mark viii at my local junkyard

im guessing you've removed the fan clutch? if so, adding an additional e-fan would be good, and it wouldnt have to be too big either.
hell i bet the e-fan i have would be good enough.

i guess i could add one on the front with the stocker at the same time.

but i rather have it not linked with the a/c. like the sock is.

just a FYI, e-fans are more efficient as a puller, not a pusher.

so did you remove the fan clutch?

yea clutch fan is off. i guess after thinking about it just getting rid of the stock and getting an upgrade would be best.
