Default Help on turbos please

Whats up guys i was lookin to turbo my 5.2L dakota and was wondering if yal could help me out or give me some advice. Anything helps

KRC no longer exists thunder98110. It was sold. The site is still up but going under new management.

Anyways, STS trubos are good for people that don't have the room or budget for a decent setup. The CLOSER the turbo is to the main exhaust the better higher performance you will get.

Our engine bays can easily fit Twins and a single is even more easy.

Overall spend the money and get a decent setup.

why are u against a rear mount turbo? turbo lag?

Turbo lag only exist in the ricer world.

Im against it because i know that a real turbo setup uses exhaust gasses to drive the turbo, the closer it is to the head the better the performance of the turbo, farther away = useless. Yeah it works, and maybe a bit cheaper, and a good option if you cant fit a turbo under the hood, but spend the extra money and do it right IMHO.

you dont need to have it under the tailgate, rear mount can still be under the cab somewhere.

one reason i am against it is because i do alot of off roading and mudding and the turbos are ****ed once i get in some water..
