5.9 done 30 over?
hello i have been looking for a good 5.9 for my dakota and today my brother got me a 5.9 that needs the bottom end done the guy said he turn the engine off and never started it up after hearing a knock becuase it only had 80.000kms on the truck but here is what iam trying to find out the guy said it was a rare truck and the engine come out factory done 30 over it was a 97 short box (very nice truck) that they didnt make many of i think he said sst /rt or something like that has anyone heard of this and did any of the dodge engines come out done 30 over ? i dont really care about having the engine fixed but i have not heard of this but when i take the heads off i will no also it was super charged i think he put that on but dont really no i didnt ask to much when he was just giving me a 5.9 and tranny with 80.000kms on it if anyone can help me out that would be great thanks

i didnt think so my self but thats why i was asking if anyone had heard of dodge doing something like that but i was just looking around on the internet and what i come up with is that his truck is one of them ss/t trucks blue with white strips i was just happy that i got the engine and tranny for free so we loaded it and said thank you and was on our way lol

what will it cost me to have the bottom end done on the engine iam in trenton ontairo canada and need a shop to take it to if anyone knows where i can take it to around here that would be great i just want it fixed and droped in my truck iam sick of mini vans kicking my *** and does anyone no if i can use the tranny my truck is a 98 dakota with 5.2 in it right now and the other truck was a 97 ram ss/t i think?
