Its not that ghetto you can't see the dump so it just looks like dual exhaust. It's what most 4th gen transam owners do since their bumpers have molded spots for exhaust tips and there isnt enough roof for true duals to get past the rear axel.

I just bought my 97 3.9 and it already had dual Flowmaster 40 series. I don't think it sounds that bad, but it's nowhere near a V8. It's a low rumble. Not high pitched like a weedwacker Honda exhaust. I prob won't change anything b/c I don't know how much money I'll dump into a $750 beater truck.

I did have a single FM40 on my XJ 4.0 HO and dumped it. Sounded nice. Not too loud at all.
