What rear do I have?
Hi guys, new here.. I have a 2001 Dodge dakota 4x4 SLT.. I want to swap out the rear peg leg with a posi unit. But, I have no idea what I should get or how to determine what rear size I have.
Any help would be great...

more than likely 8.25 but could be 9.25

It says the rear is a 3850 corp, whats that?
The front is a 3600

i would call a 4x4 shop, new to 4 wheelin that's y i came here, this site is awesome

if your rear diff is octagonal shaped i think its 12 bolts is the 9.25 if its circular its the 8.25

hmm, guessing its an 8.25 then. Mine says coporate 9, meaning it's a 9.25.
