i dont get much of a difference in the winter. the two main things that can change it for me are using 4wd and driving real slow because of the roads and the people on them. and if warming up your engine prevents stuff from breaking sooner ill burn the extra gas.
Not trying to bash what you are saying at all. It definitly sucks using more gas in the winter, but it's winter. Get over it. If you don't like it, move to Florida with everyone else.
hey its getting cold down here its going to be in the mid 20s tomorrow[/QUOTE]
Lol that must feel like 20 below for you guys. My sister lives in Flordia and said it actually is getting pretty cold. But it's not supposed to even get above 20 for the next week up here.

yeah woke up one morning and had a little frost on the wind sheild and i was like where is my ice scrapper lol
Yeah I hear ya. I work in a sawmill that is open to the elements so when it's 10 below, I'm in 10 below weather from 6:30 to 4ish. You just learn to wear enough layers. If you dress right it's not too bad.
Because it's winter, I have also put the rubber dam back on the front of the air intake. I'm expecting this should help prevent additional crap mileage for the winter, but as it stands I'm getting 15.4 mpg as I'm mostly drivin' city.
