Default Fun times on the highway...

So the other day...I decided to have a little fun on the highway. Too bad I didn't get a video but uh...yea...I sorta needed both hands. At first, though...I did not intend to reach my top speed...the perfect moment just came about.

I was driving the straightaway on I-294...and the only car in front of me went to the next lane...so I looked at my speedometer, and apparently I was near 90 and I didn't even realize it...I thought I was going 80. Anyway....so I was then like "hmm... =D =D =D" So...I gun it. I got around 100 something and I see another car in ahead so I was like "crap" and slowed down. Yea...then he changed lanes too...so then I was like "Oh hell yea!" so I gun it again. I reached the limit that the computer let me, which was 118mph. It was fun, yet scary, because the limiter made the truck jolt. Yea...4x4, snow tires, you get what I mean. It's nice cuz I didn't think it it could do that, yet it felt like it could keep going.

The only videos I have are my crappy pulls. The first video, I let go of the gas at 2nd gear. The second video, I was on a curve 0-30. The time I was trying to make these videos, my damn tires wouldn't stop squealing, so it was kind of a pain to get a good pull. But anyway, this is the only time I had made a video so...here.

Im not sure what my limit is but I was at 115. I was following a bmw he was speeding up in the straights and slow where I couldnt pass so I knew the next straight to pass was coming up so I slowed down and then gun it and reached him right before the straight doing 80 he tried to gun it but I already had 20mph on him he gave up at 100 but I kept going I looked down and I was doing 115 thats the fastest my truck went since I've had it.

I've had my little 3.9 at 105...but that was before the all terrains, winch, bumper, and lift. I doubt it could get to 90 now haha.

I have had mine to 111mph. Then the bitch started chattering like a ****. doesnt do it if I run high octane fuel. Need to adjust some timing I think..

You can't.

Plenum gasket is the most likely culprit.
