i'm done....
this is a rant. you have been warned.
ive said this before but im done modding my dakota. the fuel pump died and that was the last straw. 2010 was filled with new pcms, driveshafts, fuelpumps, failed orings, gaskets. and some other minor things. but i simply cannot afford it. if you have deep pockets go a head, its fun as hell but when ur a college student working part time its just not worth it. my luck ran out fast. im still keeping her, b.c i need a vehicle. but no more mods. i didnt want it to come to this but **** happens. i definitely didnt have my priorities straight the last several months. school, family, and life are more important than a sick truck.
sorry to be a debbie downer, but i need to get this off my chest.
here are a few of my fav. photos.

I agree, but I haven't done too much yet. I don't really think it's worth the money to put into it, considering what it's worth (mine), and our age dakotas in general unless they have like less than 100k. and that value is just going to keep going down no matter what you do to it. I like mine alot, dont get me wrong. But how long do you plan on keeping the truck? Because if you still have it in a few years and by then you might have some money, you could continue a little bit. Not all out, just small things.

I definetley know how you feel man.I had a 91 3000gt that I could not get running right.I put everything in the world on it and as soon as I replaced one thing another went out.I put a lot of time and money in it but had to let it go.I also had a 400HP mustang that I put all kinds of money in.When the differential and drive shaft gave out I said enough is enough.I ended up trading it to my Dakota and haven't looked back.Best trade I ever made.

Well I know how you feel i've been down the same road. With my truck i've been pretty lucky but I guess I have to figure I only have 90,000 miles. The cj has been a major money pit. 1 step foward and 2 steps back that how it goes thats where pretty much all my money goes lol Thankfully its been running good for the past 6 months. Just remember dont pay full price for the fuel pump I got mine for 100.00 cause I price matched.
