there is basically one suspension lift I think its 5.5 inches, for these trucks. it's made by tuff country. you'd pretty much be better off doing a solid axle swap or getting a jeep imo.

Simple answer, no, it wont work on your truck. As far as a SAS, type it in to google and you will find ALOT of threads of what goes into it. If your truck is mainly used on the street, put on a 3" body lift, larger tires and call it a day. If your truck will be seeing alot of offroad/hard use, then you might want to look into a SAS. An SAS, in short, you rip all of the IFS from your truck, and put a solid front axle under it. You will gain approx. 6-9" with a set of mild lift springs (4"-6")

you can also do a 2" torsion bar and shackle lift
IFS is independent front suspension

at most is a 3 inch body and crank the t bars up and throw 2" blocks under the rear axle to give you the 5 inch total lift. that's all you will be able to get out of it

edit: That is without doing the suspension lift, tuff country lifts are not one of my favorites.

If im spending 2 grand there is no way im keeping a torsion bar setup. I would MUCH rather spend the extra hours doing a sas cause once its done it will be worth it

SAS FTW!!!! Too be honest, i'd rather leave my dakota STOCK then go to the Aftermarket Keys... It totally ruins the ride of the dakota, IMO is nice!! But...Sas your dak and your riding on a cloud.. very nice

ok, if i do the sas swap will i lose my 4x4?
can i get one from a junk yard or does it have to be only for my 2002 dodge dak?
how much will it cost to get a pro to swap it out or can i do it?
if i cant get it from the junk yard where can i get the axel and all the parts needed?

and i suppose this allows me to put 2wd coil suspension on my truck?
