I get about 19-20 MPG.Also if I drive a lot in 4HI it doesn't really seem to affect mileage much.

Anywhere from 12 to 21MPG depending on how I'm driving and where I'm driving.

Default terrible MPG

I have the same problem as some of you. I have bad o2 sensors that need to be replaced, not sure if thats gunna affect my MPG. Right now though i have a 3.9L V6 1999 Dakota Sport. I did some calculating and i got around 15 MPG on a good day. Yet my fuel gauge can sometimes jump slightly. And i can drive for 40 + Miles on empty. Any suggestions on better MPG?

replace your o2 sensor. the upstream one is how your computer knows if the fuel mixture is accurate.

your right haha cruise control is great if your going downhill or mostly flat but if you have any hills especially with an auto its better to drive it yourself.

I would love to get a beater and just use my truck when I want to... A tdi Jetta would be awesome, but I'm stuck with 17 mpg until then lol. Oh well, I'm not going to complain. I bought a truck not a prius.

'04 quadcab with 4.7, 2WD: 18-20 mpg on highway. City driving--well, we won't talk about that.
