i bought mine with 87K a year ago and have 95k on it now and i just did mine and it was brown and chocolate covered...i do some light mudding and stuff so that was part of it...i'd recommend less than 30K if you go through big puddles or a lot of mud. the breather at the top will suck in mud and water

Guess I should do mine. At 103k + and it hasn't been changed that I know about. Any suggestions/tips as I have never done this before...

rear diff is easy, take the cover off and scrape off the old gasket, and use the red rtv sealant for the new gasket. and fill it back up. 2.2 qts. front is harder with less room to work.

When takin the cover off stick your pan under the diff and take all the bolts out execpt the top one just loosen it about 3 or 4 turns then pry the cover off if you take all the bolts out and try to get the cover off you can make a real mess then scrap all the crap off with a razor blade I like to use brake cleaner to clean all the oil off the cover beware if you have a cut on your hand and brake cleaner gets on it you will be in some pain lol.
