Default Auto Down Window Switch?

Not sure what to call it, did they make any models with in the 97-04 year models with an Window Auto down switch, like most driver side power windows has.. push it once and it goes all the way down automatically?

And if they did is it as simple as just swapping the switch it self?

My 04 has it...Thought about trying to rig another one for the pass side, but never had the motivation to check it out. Not sure if there is any position sensor for it to shut off, or if it is just based on resistance(electrical) after the motor is all the way down. Maybe if i find another switch ill see what I can do.

My 2000 has it as well.

From the FSM:

On all models, the power window switch for the driver side front door window has an Auto label on it.
This switch has a second detent position beyond the normal Down position that provides an automatic one-touch window down feature. This feature is controlled by an electronic circuit and a relay that are integral to the driver side front door power window and lock switch unit.

its ok...I was hard up to get the other side set up like the drivers side, then gave up. Sometimes its anoyying. I know the best thing on some higher end cars is auto-up. Thats more useful to me! lol...oh well.

If you have it most will have auto on the switch or you will have a 2 position switch like click then if you push it a little bit further you will feel another click and thats auto down. Really its not that big of a deal to me if I had one or not. I still have to push a button to get the window down only difference is im holding it for 5 sec longer.

Exactly right.. Well, to be honest the reason is its very akward if I'm driving to try and hold that button.. so it would be nice if it had/or could have..

Def. no labels, manual says nothing about it and only has standard up/down.. no additional click most auto's have.

So I'm going to continue to look around online and see if there is a conversion that can be made (Sure there is) but more so what all it intels.. if its a simple relay and the switch.. I'll go to a junk yard and buy one cheap..
