2000 dakota no power at ignition

On the back of the fuse block, you'll see a bunch of connectors.

The one closest to you, the top left as you face the back of the block, you'll see a BLACK 4 wire connector. This is C9. The power from the ignition switch goes back to the smaller fuses, for the radio, pcm, etc. through this connector.

It has:

Brown w/ Light Green tracer
Black w/ Orange tracer
Dark Blue
Black w/White tracer

Check for power on those wires.

well guys she is running again i was gonna try changing the switch but i ended up puttin my battery on the charger and puttin a new one in it then she started right up n works perfect thank you guys for the help i cant thank yas enough

dakoman, that is the best news. I'm glad it's up and running. One thing we all sure know more about the electrical system.

ya soon as she started i took her for a drive thats one thing i dont like workin on is the wiring but now i learned quite a bit about it so it aint to bad again thanks
