Well I took off after you said 2 to 2.5 quarts..lol
So I get there drive up on ramps, drain it, drive off the ramps put the plug back in and fill and it only took 1.5 quarts if that. Weird. It was pouring out of the fill plug so I was like whatever and plugged it and called it a day.
And thunder, you should get a front drive shaft...I know I know you'd rather spend on other mods and your new engine BUT I didn't realize how much I missed it until I got my new one and put it in. 4x4 FTW!!

dude i feel dumb. i thought 2.5pints said 2.5 quarts in my haynes manual! sorry man!
the only reason i would consider buying a new driveshaft would to get better off the line traction
