My question to you then and everyone else is what makes the autolites or NGK the way to go? Is it just because that is what everyone else uses and it has just been that way for a long time? Doing something just because it has been done that way forever is dumb. Innovation and advances come through trying new things.
The reason everyone is saying to use the Autolites is becasue most everyone on this board has used various plugs and came back to the autolites time and time again because that is what our magnum motors run best on. You may use the E-3 plugs and find they work better than a standard plug in your particular application, and that is fine. Also, our motors like a particular heat range spark plug that you may or may not find in the E-3.
