Lost wire

are you sure it doesnt go to the alt? i know theres a hot wire comin from the battery to the alt on most motors.

I hooked up the wire to the alt battery terminal. Then I started getting 01 $ 02 oxy senser failure codes plus the random miss fire codes. Drove it a bout 10 miles, It tried to die several times and the idle would rev up and down. Then there was no throttle, I turned the key off then on It started all right and ran good for about a mile then started all over again.

I found out where the wire went. It is a ground wire that goes to the air compressor. The reason it was hot was it was feeding from the air compressor.
