Hi, I replaced my water pump on my 2000 Dakota V6. Every thing went good except I have a black wire with a large terminal left over, I can't find where it goes. It comes out of the cross over bundle just behind the alternator, it is hot when the key is on. The engine is throwing random misfire codes for #2 & 4 cylinders. Ran good before replacing the water pump, also the air compressor does not kick in. Thank you

well... if its hot when the key is on we will not try to ground it. just my thought. i will look at mine in the morn to see if i can find where it goes.
