A/C evaporator leaking inside cab
Had the same problem everyone is describing. Took me a while to find the actual drain tube but to see it all you have to do is is pull off your passenger side tire, on the firewall you will see a small heat sheild behind the the exaust flange pull it off and holy smokes there it is little black tube. the problem i identified is that when the ac is running the drain tube does infact do its job however due to crappy design the water has the tendency to ride the tube back toward the cabin and due to no water proof seal at all it will drip inside the truck and and soak your passenger side floor board. My fix was purchase a 1/2" 90 degree elbo got mine at home depot. local autoparts stores didn't have it. The fit will not be perfect however if you use enought PVC primer and glue the fit is fine. you will have a cut a little piece of the heat sheild away to accomodate the elbow. Ran the car and low and behold the ac drains to the ground vice inside the car. hope this helps.
Dodge dose give you an elbow for the drip line it just fell off or a mechanic forgot to reinstall it my Dakota always had an elbow till it was worked on then it disappeared mechanic forgot to reinstall it.
If that elbow is missing it can get forced back into the cab.

Hello guys, I'm new to the site. I just bought a 2005 dakota sxt and I'm having the same problem with my passenger floor board getting wet, also my as lines are freezing up. I would like to know if some one can take a pic on where my ac drain line is at so I can do the same thing. Thank you. And please help.
Same location but probably behind some type of shield.
