but it gives you a second to double check everything maybe something came loose or is not seated right

if a rocker fell off your pretty much screwed, it would have damaged the cam and possible crack the head. inspect the head! you will notice if a rocker is off. a guy in the 3g section had that happend and he ad to replace a bent valve, ended up pulling his head off like 3 times in a week to get it fixed

Do you mean a rocker falling off in the installation process or falling off while the engine was running?

probley ment not on all the way when installed and as you drove it worked loose and fell off can you tell what side of the engine its coming from

well let us know how it goes i would just verify cam timming again and verify that all the rockers are seated right

Just cracked the valve covers. All the rockers were on. I'm going to take out the cam on the passenger side and re install it. And I will check timing I just gotta charge up my battery a bit before I get started. Thanks for all your help guys seriously, I will keep you updated as much as possible

Update:
Ok so the V8's are up but how am i suppose to verify timing? the cam looks like it maybe a little bit off but how am I suppose to fix that?

ok I found the problem. you know that little know on the end of the cam that slips into the timing sprocket? it partly broke off and grind-ed against the sprocket

yeah you must have not seated the cam dowl in the sprocket correctly. how bad is it? pics!
