89 Octane gas

Thats the only reason I get 89 cause its .10 more if it was .25 I would cheap out lol

I just filled up this morning with 93 (to match the SCT tune- the 89 was pinging on the 93 tune)

11.83 MPG on the 89. BUT that is also with 24 1/8 miles passes, for about 5 minutes of total WOT time. I'll fill up again right before I do the gear change and see what Sean's SCT tune did for my mileage on 93, then see what the gears get me, then I'll fill again before I put the rockers on.

I finally had to buy gas again today. I filled up on Shell 87 Octane. After I got home I checked my MPG on fuelly.com and it went down about 1 MPG. I am sticking with 87 for now anyway. My truck didn't really run any better on 89, but it didn't run any worse either. For the extra cost I don't think the mid grade gas was worth it.

I may do some more tests with mid-grade later on. I don't drive all that much now that I work at home so it's kind of a wash even if I were to gain a little MPG on mid-grade gas.
